Clare House provides temporary, emergency 24-hour shelter for women and children. The program also provides meals, referrals for child care and substance abuse/mental health and case management services to help women in their transition from homelessness to independent living. Last year, 671 clients were served at Clare House. Of those served, 54 percent were children.
